Flopsy is Hopping and New hand dyed Angorino Tops!

Flopsy (L) back with her Mum Eowin and her siblings!

First of all; Thank you so so much for all your lovely emails and messages and your healing loving thoughts to Flopsy. The power of good thoughts and prayers helped Flopsy a lot ! It took a full 4 days of recovering, critical care food, tummy rubs and lots of TLC but Flopsy is now gently hopping around and back with her loving mum and her siblings! I am sooooo relieved ! We still need to keep a close watch on her and she needs to gain a lot of weight (she is about 200-300 grams less than her siblings) but at least she is with her loving family again and getting stronger every day. "Floppy Bunny syndrome" is quite common in rabbits, but it was the first time ever that we have experienced anything as severe as the situation Flopsy was in. Especially at such a young age! Lets hope she will grow out of her problems and be a very happy bunny again soon! I will keep you updated ofcourse!
Saturday Mandie from Ewe give me the Knits came over for a "cuddle-a-bunny" visit and a fibre swap! oooooh what FUN!!!!! She gave me some yummy seaCell to try and even some shredded US currency (I was hoping to get the glue out and stick it all back together again, but I think it is a much better idea to spin it with some yummy fibre! ). Mandie left with some angorino babies and cuddly angora tops: Wishing you lots of fun Mandie cuddling those fluffy tops!

New Hand dyed Angorino Tops ready to go to a loving home!

I have finally....phew....finished painting and dyeing some new angorino tops and although there is not a common theme like last time, I must say that some of them are looking very happy! because of the recovery of Flopsy ofcourse: one angorino is even named in her honour: "happy bunny" !

Please take your time to browse, enjoy the colours and email me if you want to adopt any of these new fluffy angorino babies. I had to disappoint quite a few angorino fans last week because their favourite one had already found a loving home, so please email me as soon as you see the one you love and tell me to reserve it for you. I will email you back with all the details in no time, so you can cuddle up to it soon!

Hi, I met you on Sunday at the market and bought that fabulous cream yarn from you for my friend for the Christmas exchange. I can't wait for her to receive it. Love your blog, will come back often. Your bunnies are so cute.

Hi Charly,
I would love to buy some of your yarn for my daughter for Christmas. How do I go about this? Those I wanted are Ocean Spray & Machiavelli.

Thanks
Sue
