Bendigo Bash 2017

follow the bunny footprints ;-)

Only 364 days to go til Bendigo 2018! LOL

Yes, Bendigo show 2017 is over and it was amazing : total heaven for any animal and fibre and craft lover: three days of absolute bliss surrounded by colour, fluff and happy like minded people. What more can you ask for ? Party Time !!!! So after all te preparations, setting up, talking lots and having a great time with everybody showing their support and enthusiasm, it is time to do it all again! Well, it never stopped really, because I do already have some seriously new adventures lined up for next year! Nope, not saying a thing yet !

For those of you who did not have the opportunity to make it to the Bendigo Show here are some photos I took just after I finished setting up with the help of the Awesome Fiona Canavan, on Thursday night before the organisers “kicked” me out of the shed because they wanted to lock up (yes, that’s me: first in, last out…) : Enjoy !

The new blends like Vampire Deer, Gothic bunny and Black bunny sold out; the new blends of rare sheep like the Pixie blend with the Irish Kerry Hill sheep and the Outlander blend with Soay sheep almost sold out (new blending awaits later in the year) and almost all the sock yarns and handspun yarns almost sold out as well, with the marmot bunny yarn selling out faster than I could yell “BUNNY!”, the Dark Side of the Moon colourway was gone just as fast (more info on that later ! hint!).

I am absolutely humbled and energized at the same time by your generosity, your enthusiasm and amazing creativity. Next year the Bendigo show is scheduled to start on Friday 20th of July til Sunday the 22nd of July. Whatever you do, put it in your calendar !! It is going to be FUN !

Now, Every year I have a competition at Bendigo for those who spend over a certain amount at our stall and now is the time the winner is picked to receive a wonderful $200 giftvoucher to spend on what the blog updates have on offer or custom dye or spinning services.

 Here it goes…are you ready???

Really missed not making it to Bendi this year and wearing the Bunny Ears into your shed, so thanks for the wonderful photos! You do amazing work and I'm so excited to finally be learning how to spin - so looking forward to being able to pick up fibre in the future!
