It is always super exciting to see the new dropspindles from the Spindlemaker and this time I must say they are very special: all made from Tasmanian woods and sooooo yummy ! They are exquisitely hand turned, as always, and there are some favourites in there: blackheart Sassafras, flamed myrtle oh and so many more. Warning: spinning with a Spindlemaker dropspindle is very addictive! To make it even worse: every Spindlemaker spindle comes with a yummy Ixchel fibre goodie bag! Sorry...:-)
Oh, before I forget: I have just finished dyeing some more angorino tops and although still wet....they look very very nice again. So, tomorrow I will post them here on the Ixchelbunny blog AND I will alert everyone of the angorino fanclub on Ravelry as well!
Flopsy is doing much much better, but is still struggling to put some weight on: Goldie on the other hand doesn't seem to stop eating and gaining weight and now is a whopping 1133grams already! certainly the winner of the whole litter weightwise. Gorby is starting to be the expert in exploring and should have been named Houdini, because the second that your back is turned: ZOOFFFFFF and away! The black bunny , still waiting to get a name, is the sweetest, softest, most shy of the group and is soooooooo cute. Who would have thought that a black bunny would be the outcome of a silver mum and a brown dad? hmmmm...
