Blush Bunny: a Van Gogh inspired blend

This is going to be a short blog …Last night I saw that Jazz our bunny dog was a bit listless and blamed the stupid hot weather but when I looked closer I discovered her neck was really swollen…not right..so Im off to the vet with her to have it checked out this morning. Fingers crossed our little baby is going to be okay.

Apart from rushing off on a friday which is so unlike me...is that I am and have been ofcourse super super busy with all the prep work for the Bothwell ! Mountains of dyeing have been done and there’s still a couple of mountains to do including lots of new exciting stuff that will be introduced for the first time at Bothwell ! Very exciting indeed! Anyway better get the doggie to the vet and this blog update happening.

It is a blue faced Leicester based version of my Lush Tops: soft Blue faced leicester fibres are dancing with some super soft angora and cashmere with some added tencel to give it that lustre and starry starry night shine ! and yes….the bunny on the label is a Van Gigh inspired one ..couldn’t help myself since the Luch tops show the “bunny with the pearl earring..Enjoy !

Friday March 1st, Saturday March 2nd and Sunday March 3rd.

I will be there with as much fibres and yarns and batts and tops and wooshes and badges and more as I can pack into my Tardis ! I will also have some very special spindles with me and some exquisite Fiberific! Nostepinne and ChiaGoo knitting needle sets and Fiberific! stitch markers : they are so cuuuute ! , not to mention Art Yarns , pre felts, needle felting, angelina and much much more ! There are still spots on the ferry and Im sure that you can jump on a plane as well, although I wouldn’t recommend swimming: it gets a bit cold in the Bass strait…

with a Peter Rabbit theme this year! The McClelland Spinners and weavers are located in the most exquisite of places: in the McClelland sculpture park near Frankston (McClelland drive, Langwarrin, in the craft cottages on the grounds. The park is a great place for a wonderful lunch , walking around enjoying all the sculptures and visiting the gallery) .

I will be there supporting their wonderful group and the Peter Rabbit theme ofcourse ! and bringing heaps of fibres, yarns and goodies !

In the flower Power Bunny Shed there will be some extra surprises and new things happening as well, including …this is so exciting!!!!: you can see and try out new unusual spinning wheels adn spinning related goodies like andean plyers and nore from a wonderful new fibre fanatic fiberific! vendor ! Don’t miss seeing these new beauties! And ofcourse there will be lots more demos and wheels and spindles on offer as well in the flower power Bunny shed !
