Oh la la !

It is Friday AND..tadaa! …can you believe it, the Tour De France is starting today!! well tonight Australian time, 2.30am to be precise…
It is the perfect time to set your spinning wheel up (or knitting) and watch the french countryside woosh by and see guys in lycra work up a sweat….no, not MAMILS (=middle aged men in lycra)..lol and I must say it is around this time of year that I tend to listen to Jazz manouche music (remember Chocolat , the movie? With Johnny Depp?..i know you will..lol..that Django Reinhardt jazzy guitar music is great happy spinning music. YouTube the Rosenberg trio for example or Jazz manouche )  .

There’s is just something romantically comforting about it all , especially since it marks the two and a bit  week dash to the Bendigo Show. Everything is frantic here ..getting ready for the biggest show for the IxCHeL fibre farm: the living room is filling up with dyed tops and fibres and yarns, crates and crates of bunny paraphernalia are piling up , new bunny ideas are materialised , labelling, braiding, embroidering, sewing, painting, felting kits, quilting kits, silk fabrics for nuno felting! buttons, not to mention batty batt making in progress ..you name it....it is full FULL on !!

No time for a huge commentary on last weeks happenings Im afraid…I’m slowly but surely running our of production time and the blasted flu attack hasn’t helped one iota..! I think the olive leaf capsules are taking effect though ! Which is a great relief, because the continuous sneezing almost broke a rib..lol

On this weeks blog I am offering you a tiny TINY tidbit of what is to come at the Bendigo show: some new Angel bunny tops (Blue faced Leicester, cashmere, angora and tencel) and bunny buttons !! so cute!!!!

Also please be aware , and this also goes for all you IxCHeL club members out there as well: it is the last chance to sign up for all my clubs this week! Even if you have been a member until June, you will have to confirm if you still want to reserve your spot. There are a lot of people on the waiting list as well and believe me you don’t want to miss out ;-) The next three months of clubs are going to be awesome (yes, eeeeevil plans are brewing..lol)
