True Love

No matter how many times I state the obvious, it never ever makes it seem normal: A week has already flown by since my last update AND the awesome fibre and yarn filled weekend !

The Wool Field Day organised by the Black and coloured Sheep Organisation was amazing although I had to get used to the new venue in Pakenham. It was amazing seeing so many of my friends in fibre and meeting so many new people. Thank you all so much for visiting my stall !!! It warmed my heart and put a big smile on my face.

As per usual I worked my proverbial off to be able to offer as much variety as possible and I was surprised how little yarns I had left and some of the blends that were almost all sold out (like the Gothic bunny, the Bunny Bison Bliss, Blossom bunny and so many more). Time for me to hit the dye pots again soon.

However, I did have some what I call “Orphan skeins”left : what I call a skein when there is only one of that colourway left or a max of two. I love combining different skeins together but some people might not find it that easy , especially when buying on line, so what I thought as an update for tonight (the LAST Friday of the Month of September!! I know!!!! Can you believe it???!!!!) to have a special “True Love Yarn Combo Update” of skeins that are “meant to be together”. These True Love Combos  will make a wonderful big shawl where you can combine the two colourways together, and in some cases, I have even put three together and you can make a “So Faded” gorgeous top for example ! Anything goes!!
