I know I have been saying that it’s a roller coaster ride here most of the time but this time it’s like a roller coaster gone overdrive….
I have come out this morning on my facebook and insta already but I am just going to quickly put it out here as well to all of you who are not into that whole social media stuff:
About 9 years ago I had cancer...it was very tough but I got “knitted back together again...” π°π§Άπ°
Then, about 5 years ago I started falling...out of the blue .. into a black void. No reason...just fainting and falling. Slowly but surely I got tired and more tired until tired became exhausted, but..I always had an excuse for that: I worked too hard, worked too long, stress, lots of reasons....but apparently...it was my heart; my heart was slowly dropping stitches.. .. . . .. . . .
After lots of tests and seeing lots of specialists now I’m getting my heart “knitted together again” : my operation will be next week. I’m both relieved and nervous but hopeful...and of course looking forward to being an energiser bunny again or a bionic one if you like π
I will have to heal and I’ll have to take it easy for at least 4 weeks after the operation.
The August clubs will be shipped on Monday π and I have already started the dyeing of the September clubs π so to all club members :there’s no need to worry π
I will keep you all posted and of course there will still be my weekly blogs, although next week Friday a blog might be a bit impossible π
I think I’m going to knit a few colourful hearts to stay calm ❤️π°❤️ will you join me? ❤️

I did prepare an update for you for tonight : some gorgeous Valais Blacknose blend tops from those cute little sheep from Switzerland I put a video up of on my facebook page this week ;-) Here is some information about these cute little teddy bears...eh...sheep
The Valais Blacknose Sheep hail from Switzerland and I have combined their fibre with some lovely super soft fibres. Their fleece is not normally close to skin wear, but you know what I am going to say: blending a coarser fleece with angora and cashmere and doing some of my blending magic: it will be soft enough to wear close to skin!! Of course a high micron sheep’s fleece will not compare to super fine 13 micron merino or pure cashmere or angora, but every fibre has its purpose and every fibre can be blended to change the overall use. Everything has value, everything can be used and loved and cuddled.
The Valais Blacknose sheep originate in the Valais region of Switzerland. They are a dual-purpose breed, raised for meat and wool. The black patches on its nose, eyes, ears, knees, hocks and feet and otherwise light woolly coats make them quite unmistakable. They are a heritage breed, well-suited to living in the extreme climatic conditions of the high mountains. They are good at grazing steep, rocky slopes. Both sexes are horned. The earliest mention of the breed dates back to 1400 A.D., but they were first recognized as a separate breed in 1962.
Here are some photos of the lovelies in their natural habitat:

carefully packed and presented in a special organza gift bag
50g/ AU$19
Two organically grown superior green tea leaves and a jasmine bud are plucked from the best quality tea bushes and mixed with delicately smelling jasmine blossoms, then sieved and hand rolled on bamboo trays, into small balls while the leaves are not quite dry.
The leaf captures the fine jasmine aroma and releases it during brewing, giving a champagne coloured cup.
Brewing: 1-3 minutes 75-80degC ,
4 pearls/cup,
you can reinfuse 3-4 times so those 4 pearls last a looong time
Carefully handrolled tea
Enjoy the tea over and over again, by adding hot water again and again
