BB..Bionic Bunny here….. (hahahaha)
Two weeks since my heart got bionic ! Energy wise, every day is just a bit better than the day before. I am still healing, a fact sometimes I tend to forget, but the difference in the last few days have been out of this world. It made me think how much I have lied to myself and others around me. Yes, I cannot say it in any other way than that. I have been telling myself lies. Thinking I felt utterly depressed, exhausted because of stress, working too hard, getting older. And , although these are all totally legitimate reasons for feeling the way I was, I wasn’t exactly a 110 year old. There have been people my age climbing Mount Everest and surviving I might add. But still, my mind wanted to have a reason for feeling crap , all the while, putting up a brave face, which killed me even more. It lead me astray from my own me.
This might all sound mad, but I actually thought at one point I was losing myself; you know, even to a point my brain was not right, maybe I was in the stages of early alzheimers and yes…it was that bad. It was like a total fog was surrounding me and at no time, not at any point of time, did I EVER think that it was my heart. How could I not know?
Well, it was and I have to say.. and it is still early stages of course and I have a bit more physical healing to do, but OMG it is like a fog has lifted !! I cannot explain it in any other way!
It appears that my heart did not work properly about 25% of the time. Part of my heart was giving instructions to beat, but the other part of my heart just said” Stuff that mate! I’m just gonna lie here and relax!” So yeah, now I have got a bionic gizmo kicking my lazy part of my heart into action, pumping that good blood stuff all around like it should.
Also, Life is too short to deal with crap. Have a laugh, tell it like it is and don’t give the egotistical numpties in this world the time of day or your energy. You do not have to take my advice on that , but Oh boy, does it make a difference! Call stuff out you do not agree with, be yourself in whatever situation and do not, at any point in time, lose your sense of humour ! I’ll be right even if it kills me, but until it does, I’m feeling better, bionic and all.
What other way to celebrate than with my favourite blend I have done and have not put on an update in a long time. Something to celebrate my ancestors with: Bunny Bison Bliss. The American Bison, so great that the scientific name for them is Bison Bison, is the largest land animal currently living in the Americas and Australia ! (yes you heard right, there are bison in Australia! See this website for more information: http://www.dhtc.com.au/bison.php ) .
Enormous herds of bison once occupied the American Great Plains, and were critically important to Native American Plains tribes as sources of meat, hides, horn, bone and sinew. American Bison were hunted close to extinction by white settlers and the American military during the western migration, but they were given protected status and the population rebounded in the second half of the 20th century.
There are now substantial populations living in the United States and Canada; all the wild-ranging herds are found in state, provincial and national parks. In addition, there are several herds owned by private farmers and yes, even some in Australia !
As a spinner and weaver I love to play and experiment with all sorts of fibres and the Bison being so close to my heart and heritage.
It has the following ingredients: Superfine 17micron merino, angora bunny , Bison, Baby Camel, cashmere and tencel. It spins like a dream!

carefully packed and presented in a special organza gift bag
50g/ AU$19
Two organically grown superior green tea leaves and a jasmine bud are plucked from the best quality tea bushes and mixed with delicately smelling jasmine blossoms, then sieved and hand rolled on bamboo trays, into small balls while the leaves are not quite dry.
The leaf captures the fine jasmine aroma and releases it during brewing, giving a champagne coloured cup.
Brewing: 1-3 minutes 75-80degC ,
4 pearls/cup,
you can reinfuse 3-4 times so those 4 pearls last a looong time
Carefully handrolled tea
Enjoy the tea over and over again, by adding hot water again and again
