Starry Nights

I truly cannot believe it is Hanukah and it's almost Christmas !!! this year has been so weird and abnormal that on the one hand it was all slow motion and on the other had, you BLINK and months have gone by ! Just crazy ! I have been keeping so busy that I honestly do not know whether I am coming or going….lol Tomorrow is the last day of my “12 Days of Christmas event” I am holding on Facebook and Instagram: A Fundraiser this year for the Healesville Sanctuary/Victorian Zoos for their truly amazing work in wildlife conservancy and their tireless work in caring for so many of the wildlife that has been injured during the Bushfires in January this year. Nature has been dealt a blow for sure, with so many species going extinct at alarming rates. We all can do our bit and so, even though it is just a small drop in the ocean, every small drop helps. Tomorrow is the last day of the fundraiser and oh WOW! It has been absolutely maginificent ! I could hardly keep up!! I will put a post up on facebook and Instagram once everything is finalized next week, how much we all have managed to fundraise ! It is very exciting !

I have a confession to make : I am exhausted! So next week is going to be my last blog update for the year. I need some time off to regroup and re energise myself before my batteries run totally out. To top it off this  week, I have no idea WHAT on earth I did, my pacemaker somehow dislocated itself and got twisted around a bit. It scared the living daylights out of me! I am alright, but it was just (another) a sign I REALLy need to take a bit of a rest. This year Paul has made a huge difference in helping me pack and send all the parcels out as well, streamlining it all with Auspost. I am very very grateful! Because over the whole year up til today, it seems that we are sending over 3000 parcels ! that is huge! Well, it is huge for me not for Amazon obviously…lol not that I ever want to become Amazon, but it just gives you an idea that I have been working my proverbial behind off. Time to take a breather, read a book, knit and spin and relax with a glass of wine somewhere.
We will just be taking daytrips every now and again so not a big holiday, but still, Paul has demanded I do not do anything strenuous for at least 2 weeks. I had to pinky swear….lol
So, What have I got planned for you this week? .

I have been busy dyeing some new Cashmere flings for you, because I thought, a fling would cheer lots of people up and it is the perfect blend for Australian Summer, Christmas, well you know what I mean….. This blend is so super soft and I have tweaked it a bit so it is even less resistible. “Resistance is Futile”, as the Borg would say.

Also, the sign ups for the Next round of IxCHeL clubs ends on December 27th this year, which is only a few days away. To receive a fluffy parcel with a surprise and some inspiration is THE BEST thing since sliced bread.
