A Yarn Stampede

This time, last week, I was still plying angora bunny yarns and packing the last yarns in tubs ready for the show ! It was an extremely early start the next morning to take the big drive to the city and set up at a dazzling speed …lol

The Handknitters and Crochet guild of Victoria have done an absolutely fantastic job organizing ! With all the COVID restrictions put in place, the show was still lots and lots of fun w, with lots of people visiting. It felt so weird being part of a show again and seeing people and talking to them face to face ! There were heaps of familiar faces and lots of new faces as well ! I am sure everybody had an absolutely fabulous time ! I know I had ! A big thank you to all the organisers and the people coming to visit the show! It was absolutely amazing to feel so much support and love for fluffy yarns and fibres ! I did make a little video (not a very good one, because I was still running here there and everywhere and a stampede of customers had already come and tsuname’ed (is that even a word…? LOL) the stall…so, my apologies for the quality! i will try and do better next time !

The show was awesome, but on the Monday I immediately had to go back into the dye room to start the May clubs and custom orders ! No rest for the wicked they say ….lol
