No, no, no…Again,….no news yet. Again, I have called the oncology department and asked for my, but “due to privacy issues they could not tell me anything “ ..........
I was wrong about not beating myself up about it….it’s getting to me…I’m highly irritable…that’s possibly why I have made great progress doing very physical work in the garden making the raised beds and bashing stakes and other poles into the earth in frustration. It helped. It also helps that the garden is taking shape and that it has even survived gail force winds that could have brought the whole Tikki torches in twilight relaxing area down, but it is still standing and so am I. Whenever frustrated or angry, make a raised garden bed ! I did want to order some wasabi plants as well, but they were totally sold out in no time by the Diggers group I belong to , so I settled getting the hottest possible Chilli plants available. I love hot food, and I hope that the possum who resides in nearby trees will take one bite and think “I will NEVER go to that hell hole again”it is worth a try.
Tomorrow was update day, but hubbie is off to footy camp with his team, which means I will have to drop him off at the pick up point in the morning…so hence the earlier release of the blog on Thursday….. by the way, don’t think that footy camp is actually a camp where the guys from his football club go and play footy and train. I thought that, but obviously I was sadly mistaken.. It was pointed out to me by my dear Paul, when I asked him if all his footy gear was ready to be packed up . he gave me a quizzical look and replies “Oh I don’t need footy clothes”…wearing a smirk on his face. “why? It’s footy camp! Obviously you guys are going to play footy!?” “Naaah, we just hang out , have fun, yoou know that kind of stuff”.. “o---okay then…. A day later when Paul said he was going to hit some balls with his boss at a golf course to..and I quote “get some practice before footy camp” ..Again, I was puzzled… “So, you don’t play footy but you go and play golf at footy camp??? And will the camping grounds have enough space for you guys to hit balls here there and everywhere?” This time, my question was answered with even a huger smirk and a laugh Öh..eh, we are not staying at a camp site! We are staying at a golf course” laugh laugh laugh…Well, blow me down and call me stooooopid…so footy camp is A- not a camp B. nor do you play footy there ! …Really!!!!
Again, whenever in doubt: build a raised veggie bed..yes there are two now and another one is on its way! The full on veggie garden photo shoot will feature next week. Exciting !

Amazingly gorgeous blend that is amazing to spin and felt with!
100+ grams AU$20
you will help save this rare sheep breed from extinction.
100+ grams AU$20
you will help save this rare sheep breed from extinction.
The tops that I am offering you this week are very special just like the history they have : The Navajo call them "the Old Ones" and see the Churro sheep as a gift from the Gods. The wool from these sheep are the basis of the Navajo Weaving and also is a wonderful fibre to make socks and ponchos. The sheep were nearly wiped out during the tribe's forced relocation in the 1860s and again in the stock reductions of the 1930s: federal agents just went from hogan to hogan and shot a large percentage of the livestock and horses, more than 250.000 animals were killed and the Churro sheep were almost extinct with fewer than 700 head by 1990! But they are making a comeback, due to the efforts of the Navajo Sheep Project so they can return to their historic place and purpose among the Navajo and that it can benefit the Navajo People. The hand dyed tops that I am offering you here are blends of soft white Churro fleece with Angora Bunny: it makes for a wonderful mix and will make the most wonderful yarn, suited for socks and outerwear as well as sweaters. The Bunny added to the Churro makes it softer to handle and easy to spin. Help in the fight against Extinction of this rare breed.
