Only 1 month til the Big Bendigo Show!  It is count down time and the whole house, studio and dye room is filled with fluff and yarn and tops.

Safe to say that the pressure I am putting myself under to get things done is out of this world !  10 kilos per day is a LOT of dyeing but necessary for a big show like the Bendigo Show!  I always say: if you  don;t have it you cannot sell it.
Throughout the whole year there are preparations going on for the biggest fluffy wool show on the year. Just to give you an example : I have been working hard to get Vampire deer and other rare breeds organised and happening in time for the show. It is not like ordering on line and having it delivered by ups: it entails heaps of work from sourcing to talking to national parks, zoos, engaging with rare breed societies  and get on board with everybody in Australia to ensure safe passage  into Australia  to get the fun blending  and dyeing stuff started! THis is something that doesn't get done in a week or even a month..it can take up to a year to get things organised and done before my blending and dyeing can even get started. The reason WHY I do things like that is because I LOVE  animals, I LOVE rare breeds and I LOVE being able to offer all of you the opportunity to spin or knit with something special that warms your heart and soul.

There are so many things on the go here at the same time I  think my energiser bunny batteries are not enough to keep me going.  However, Two of my very good friends are helping me out BIG time this year: I thought I did not have enough time to dedicate to organising and leading the Tour De Fleece 2017 Team  BUT because of the demand and requests They have stepped up to the plate and are the moderators and helping in a HUGE way to make the Tour de Fleece happening again! here are all the links you need to participate in this amazing event : http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/ixchelbunny-fibre-and-yarn/3638518/1-25#2
