Time for Silky Croissants

What a week ! There has been liots of dyeing and prepping and carding going on here and packing ! LOTS and LOTS of packing ! The whole studio was filled with batts, tops and yarns, in cute parcels.

All the March clubs were shipped out on Tuesday !  

I was hoping that all my extra special blending and dyeing would be dry for this weeks update but the weather had other ideas and so I had to come up with a plan B. 

Lucky for you Plan B is an extra special treat as well !! See, even when plans don’t exactly work out, it always pays of to have a back up plan. Don't worry: Next week there is going to be a super special hand dyed blend on offer that will amaze you: so soft it is out of this world and there are some new colourways as well. 

All the dye pots are getting a big work out as well by the way. I have been spinning heaps of our angora fibres up and those will get a dye bath  as well as some of my bunny mink and bunny wallaby yarns. 

 I have also just received a container worth of custom spun IxCHeL Sock yarn from the fabulous Bendigo Woollen mills , spun especially for me. So happy with how they turned out and atm the skeining and prepping is in full swing as well ! Then: it’s time for them to hit the dye pots ! I tell you: It is all happening !!! 

Back to tonight: Tonight's offering is a super special freshly blended superfine Merino, mulberry silk and cashmere ! It is not many times I offer these as a bump , of as I call it a "croissant" , because packed up they look like gorgeous big shiny croissant….yes, I have a vivid imagination…lol 

 One cashmerino silk “croissant” weighs over 500 grams and I am offering you these beauties for $80 ! (Normal retail price is $130 !) 

 The blend is super soft, shiny, very easy to spin and is also perfect for any felting project! It takes the dye beautifully as well. All the info and the photos are below.
