Smile ! It’s Friday !

It has been super super SUPER busy here at the “fluffy funny farm”…lol All the December clubs have been shipped on Thursday !!!!! WOOOHOOOO! Giving you a sneak peek later in this blog!

It has been a huge effort to get everything ready in time for the Auspost cut off date so that all the club members (both in Australia and international) would get their December clubs in time for Christmas. 

As soon as the clubs were out of the way, I could not stop for a breather, but immediately started prepping all kinds of fluff and yarns for the upcoming twelve days of Christmas fundraiser!! It is all happening !!!!!! 

The fundraiser will start on December 1st , Wednesday to be precise, and will always take place at noon aka 12pm AEDT. I will post very special offers EVERY DAY for 12 days on my Instagram page and also share it on facebook. 

I have been doing these “12 days of Christmas” fundraisers for a few years now, first for the Cancer council Australia and then for Wildlife Conservation. 

This year I will also do a fundraiser for Wildlife and Healesville Sanctuary: wildlife needs all the help it can get. Every little thing helps I always say. 

I would really love it if you could all could join me next week for 12 days of lots of fun. There will be fantastic offerings not to miss and not all will be fibre related, there will be yarn as well and also art and spindles and felt and lots , lots more !!! As you can imagine, I haven’t had much “free” time with all the blending, dyeing, carding and packing. I am still reading my “weird dinosaur book” and also “Eleanor and Sarah; the ladies from Llangollen” to unwind before bed, but I haven’t made much progress. By the time I go to bed it’s pretty late (or early,, depending how you look at it…lol) and my eyes can’t stay open for that long.

I did receive my pre order of Diana Gabaldon’s book “Go tell the bees that I am gone” the latest book of the Outlander books, but I think I will start that during my Christmas holidays…. 

I am planning on not doing updates and “closing” from Saturday the 18th of December and starting all the blog updates again on Friday, January the 14th. 

This will give me the chance to TRY and recharge my batteries and get things ready for the new year. 2021 seems to have been a bit of a Schrodinger's cat kind iof year: it bot seems to have dragged on for ages AND has flown by at the same time....lol

Tonight’s update is all about Flings ! Yes you read that right: Flings: Cashmere Flings to be exact ! This blend is sooooo soft and spins like butter ! It is light as and is perfect to wear all year round.

Shipping :  I am still working and mailing the parcels out fast as humanly possible :-) All orders received and paid for of the Friday updates, will be shipped first thing monday morning. We do daily post office runs (if necessary). The recent AusPost changes to parcel pickups from businesses therefore does not apply to us because WE deliver your parcel directly to our nearest AusPost hub.

Seeing that there are currently lots of Covid cases, especially in NSW ain VIC, there can be some AusPost sorting centres that do not have enough staff so there will be delays in getting the parcel to you. As soon as your parcel is shipped you will receive an automatic email from AusPost with the tracking number so you can see where your parcel is and the approximate ETA. 

Overseas deliveries are highly impacted by the very low amount of planes out of Australia t the moment and the very high pressure on AuPost. Please be patient during these pandemic times. We do our utmost to keep everything running smoothly on our end and if you have any questions: please do not hesitate to ask. Always happy to help!
