Zendaya or: Thank you !

Do you fall in love with some colour combinations?
I DO !!!
and this colourway is my absolute favourite this week.
I named this colourway "Zendaya", not after the actress and singer,
but to say
“ I give thanks and I am grateful to still be here”
 in the Shona language in Zimbabwe.

”I should have been at the Bendigo Sheep and Wool Show”, she yelled into the void in desperation, frustration and stress, desperately trying to stay calm...... 

I knew it was coming: the weekend of fibery fun for everyon, months and months and months ago, but still, when the weekend actually gets here and I’m lying here, on the couch trying to breathe and get my strength up, it is still a heavy blow. 

I strayed onto social media too many times for my own good, seeing lots of familiar faces having the time of their lives, hugging sheep and yarn and fibres today. And, thinking bot only of the lost experience bit also of the lost oncome for our little fibre farm....... Staying calm in the middle of all that is quite a feat...lol

BUT, First of all I am wishing every one of my friends who have set up stalls and selling their wonderful yarns and fibres a fantastic show ! and, to all of my friends who are visiting the show to get their fibre and yarn fix: Have loads and loads of fun ! And a special shout out to all of you who are wearing their bunny ears and representing the bunnies at the sheep and wool show ! (looking at you Helen and Elisabeth Bridson !!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you for the photos !!!! you are absolute STARS!!!)

So, what is happening here? apart from looking after myself and my health at this moment and keeping my heart rate going (no small feat, but the little bionic rewired gizmo is doing its jobby), more work has been done on the almost ready IxCHeL website, more braiding of freshly dyed tops for this update and of course the clubs.

Anyway… as for the website : Paul and me are trying to make things as perfect and fluffy and fab as possible. Well, obviously not purrfect because chances are you will still have to wait like ten years to get a glimpse of a website...lol  Stay tuned for the last week of July !!!! (fingers crossed !!! I can get my act together and press the "GO LIVE WEBSITE" button....lolololol
