Hopping to the Sprint !
7 days to go til Bendigo show. Well not really because I have to get everything ready by Wednesday in time to set up on Thursday and believe me: there is a LOT to set up !!
All the dyeing is pretty much done except for a few technical little dyeing session tomorrow, so then it is all about braiding, labeling, badge making, paperwork and signage. There is always more left to do and I always feel that I do not have enough but I bet I won’t have enough room if push comes to shove..lol
The “thank you for being a superbunny parcels have been packed so everybody wearing bunny ears will get a nice pressie !! and do not forget that everybody spending over $75 will go into the draw to win an amazing prize! Just like every year at Bendigo.
These last few days before the car is packed with all the fluffy Bendigo goodies feels like a last sprint to reach the finish line after running a marathon for the last few months non stop. It is a huge undertaking ! For some things like the the handspun yarn: I start spinning as soon as Bendigo is over for next years Bendigo. It can look like I am this happy go lucky bunny with green ears on but I am quite serious about enabling…lol…besides it is very important: important because this is what I do. t's my job, my life , my income, the way the farm can stay alive. People often tell me “ I don’t know how you do all this” ….I do: I work almost non stop…lol
With all this in mind and the mad scramble for Bendigo next week, I hope you will not hold it against me that I will not put up any fibres or yarns on this blog for you to snaffle: Time is not my friend at the moment..and I have still so much to tackle..It is totally and utterly mental..!! If you would like me to custom dye or spin anything for you or you can’t make it to Bendigo: please contact me! I will do my best to be a good enabler. Custom dyeing or spinning jobs will obviously have to wait til Bendigo.
