What a week !

I have been super busy trying to get the May Clubs all dyed and dried and ready to be shipped out (this is going to happen on Monday!) and then also prepare all the special fluffy stuff I was planning for this update. A week doesn’t seem to be long enough ! LOL

Also, this week has proven to be a bit of a super stressful doozie: some lowlives have somehow gotten a hold of Pauls credit card and tried to spend all our money, which is not much at all, but it would have been nice to be seeing it disappear like snow on a sunny day. Lucky for us, the bank noticed that there was suspicious activity going on and blocked the card almost immediately. It is super annoying and to top it off, that same day I got a scammer harassing me for money in the name of a facebook friend, so I could not ignore that and reported it and alerted all the mutual friends etc

I had a horrific sleep where I dreamt I was either submitted to water torture or drowning..I found out the exact reason why this morning : the ceiling almost above my head had developed a drip and a crack in space and time that a drip hit my night table aggressively and hit my pillow and every now and again my face. Oh joy ! No wonder I was dreaming about water torture...LOL
So yeah, Paul is doing repairs, we’re doing the clean up and will have to get our roof repaired. It’s all fun and games.

You can imagine that at the moment I have a bit of a hard time to smile, sparkle and shine …BUT you know me, I can’t help but laugh when these kind of annoying things happen and get on with it. A sense of humour definitely  helps but I  will need a wine tonight (and an umbrella if it rains)..LOL

Back to tonight’s update: I wanted to offer special things this month of May because the handknitters guild show was cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Normally I have lots of hand spun angora yarns on offer at that show as well. Something I rarely offer on the blog updates because they take a long time to spin and I only have a limited amount of fluff set aside for spinning pure angora yarns. Safe to say, these yarns at the shows are pretty popular and fuzzy wuzzy always seems to be a hit, so I normally do not have any spare. This year is different of course! So I thought today was a special day to offer you another batch of special DK 8ply yarns I have dyed up, lots of special pure and blended angora bunny yarns, a few fluffy bunny batts, and last but not least, super soft pure angora fibres pulled into easy to spin tops AND a super special handspun angora bunny yarn with gold leaf!
